FAQ
1. What is One Million Voices of Wisdom?
It's a global project to create the most collaborative book in human history, where one million people each share a piece of wisdom they've learned in life.
One story. One voice. One legacy.
2. Who can participate?
Absolutely everyone, from anywhere in the world. No writing experience, no age limit. Just a willingness to share something meaningful. We believe everyone has something worth saying.
3. Do I have to pay to submit my sentence?
We ask for a symbolic contribution of 1€ to support the project. This helps us cover costs and keep everything free from ads or sponsorships. Also, if you believe this project, you can contribute with more and help us reach even more people.
If you truly can't afford it, reach out. We'll find a way to include your voice.
4. Where does the money go?
Every contribution helps us:
-
Host and preserve the digital archive;
-
Translate and share submissions across cultures;
-
Print editions of the book at milestones;
-
Keep the project open, independent, and accessible to all
We're fully transparent — this is a community-funded legacy.
5. What kind of wisdom can I share?
Anything you've learned that's honest, meaningful, or helpful, even if it's simple.
It could be about love, loss, parenting, identity, joy, struggle, or perspective.
We only ask: make it your own, and from the heart.
6. Can I remain anonymous?
Yes. All submissions are anonymous by default. Your name won't appear unless you you add it in the form we will send you after the contribution.
7. Will this become a real printed book?
Yes, that's the vision. We'll release printed editions at key milestones (like 10.000 / 100.000 / 500.000 / 1.000.000 entries), in multiple languages. Early contributors will help shape that journey.
8. Is this a charity, a startup, or something else?
We're a purpose-driven independent project. Not a company. Not a brand.
Just people trying to create something beautiful, made by everyone, for everyone.
9. How do I submit my sentence?
Once you support the project (on Indiegogo, Ko-Fi, BuyMeACoffee, etc.), you'll be guided to a simple form to write your message. It takes less than 2 minutes.
10. Can I read what others have submitted?
Yes! We'll be sharing selections regularly on the website, social platforms, and eventually in the published book. This is about shared wisdom, not a closed box.
11. How can I help beyond donating?
Share the project with someone who has wisdom to give;
Talk about it in your community;
Invite people across cultures to participate;
Or just be present. Your attention matters.
